L’autoportrait : j’ai réalisé cette toile en écho à la photo de Mirlande Meldem prise dans mon atelier, en mai 2025. L’idée était de me capturer dans mon atelier, puis que je crée une œuvre en réponse à cette série, à un cliché en particulier. Le portrait et le tableau se font face dans la galerie : deux œuvres, deux matières, face à face, se répondent : l’une en photographie et l’autre en peinture.
Cette collaboration est aussi une rencontre entre regards, univers, invisible et indicible.
Nous avons exposé nos travaux à la galerie Franklin (Lyon 2ème) ce portrait, mon tableau autoportrait ainsi que d’autres tableaux et photos cohérentes à cette thématique : l’entre-deux.

Exhibition: August 29, 2025 – September 10, 2025
The Self-Portrait: I’ve created this painting in response to my portrait taken by the talented photographer Mirlande Meldem in my art studio in May 2025. The concept was to capture me in my creative element, and then for me to produce an artwork in dialogue with that series; with one photograph in particular. In the gallery, the portrait and the painting face each other: two artworks, two mediums confronting one another, conversing—one through photography, the other through painting.
This collaboration is also an encounter between perspectives, worlds, the invisible, and the unspeakable.
At Galerie Franklin (Lyon 2nd arrondissement), we presented this portrait, my self-portrait painting, as well as other paintings and photographs that align with this theme: the in-between.
